Teaser Tuesday #45: The Forever Song By Julie Kagawa

Teaser Tuesday
is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB @ Should Be Reading, where you share one to two teasers from your current book. Sound like something your interested in?
Then do the following:
  • Grab your current read. Open to a random page
Share 2 "Teaser" Sentences from somewhere on that page.
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!
  • Share the author & Title too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your Teaser!

Here's My #45th Teaser Tuesday From THE FOREVER SONG!

The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3)
The Forever Song

Allison Sekemoto once struggled with the question: human or monster?

With the death of her love, Zeke, she has her answer.

Allie will embrace her cold vampire side to hunt down and end Sarren, the psychopathic vampire who murdered Zeke. But the trail is bloody and long, and Sarren has left many surprises for Allie and her companions—her creator, Kanin, and her blood brother, Jackal. The trail is leading straight to the one place they must protect at any cost—the last vampire-free zone on Earth, Eden. And Sarren has one final, brutal shock in store for Allie.

In a ruined world where no life is sacred and former allies can turn on you in one heartbeat, Allie will face her darkest days. And if she succeeds, triumph is short-lived in the face of surviving forever alone.

Both Teasers are taken out of an eARC. Some quotes might change in the final copy!

Chapter 6: Location 1130 on my Tablet
Fire flared from the tip of the weapon, searing the air close to my face, and my demon recoiled with a shriek. Snarling, I yanked the raider down, tore the gun from his hands, and sank my fangs into his throat. Hot blood filled my mouth, easing the pain as my wounds healed, mangled flesh knitting back together. I continued feeding until the body shuddered and went limp in my grasp, and I let it slump lifelessly to the floor. Wiping my mouth, I grabbed my katana and rose, looking around for my next enemy.

Chapter 6: Location 1137 on my Tablet
"All righty, then." Jackal kicked a body out of his path and sauntered forward, grinning. "I feel better already. Nothing like massacring a bunch of filthy traitors to get the blood flowing."

Julie KagawaJulie Kagawa, the New York Times bestselling author of the Iron Fey and Blood of Eden series was born in Sacramento, California. But nothing exciting really happened to her there. So, at the age of nine she and her family moved to Hawaii, which she soon discovered was inhabited by large carnivorous insects, colonies of house geckos, and frequent hurricanes. She spent much of her time in the ocean, when she wasn’t getting chased out of it by reef sharks, jellyfish, and the odd eel.
Julie now lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where the frequency of shark attacks are at an all time low. She lives with her husband, two obnoxious cats, one Australian Shepherd who is too smart for his own good, and the latest addition, a hyper-active Papillon.

So, Whatc'ha think of my Teaser Tuesday Of THE FOREVER SONG?

Do you have a Teaser Tuesday? If so, link me up so I can come check out your TT or weekly memo. Look out for my review of THE FOREVER SONG
coming soon!

I leave you guys with this VERY popular qoute from IMMORTAL RULES, and again said in THE FOREVER SONG! And I'm sure it was said in THE ETERNITY CURE too, but I don't remember!

Sometime in your life, Allison Sekemoto, you will kill a human being. Accidentally or as a conscious, deliberate act. It is unavoidable. The question is not if it will happen, but when.

Thanks For Stopping By! :-)

  1. Sounds pretty bloody. Much better to get aggression out in a book. Here's Mine

    1. ....lol! Yes, it is better to read your aggression, versus acting on it! And this book is VERY bloody, and I LOVE IT!

Julie Kagawa is a master mind at creating them deadly, bloody, gruesome scenes! If you want blood, death, and a WHOLE LOT of killing, this is your series!

Thanks for stopping by my TT! :)

  2. I can't wait to read this one. It is on my review stack but has a few books ahead of it. My teasers this week are from Dash of Peril by Lori Foster and Sky Raiders by Brandon Mull. Happy reading!

    1. I know, I was SO excited when I received it for review! It has to be one of my most anticipated books of 2014! I loved the first 2 books, and this one is just as good!

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  3. Enjoyed teaser 2. Happy blog birthday!
    Here's my teaser

Kay @ Love Bites and Silk Ties

    1. Thank you so much! I have 8 days full of author events and giveaways, so I hope you stop back through! :)

The second teaser is just the tip of the iceberg with Jackal (The guy who said that teaser) He is so hilarious, yet just as dangerous! I love him! :)

      Thanks for commenting! :)

  4. Replies
    1. Thanks! I'm enjoying it! The blood and all...lol! :)

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  5. Teaser #1 was interesting to me because I enjoyed the description from the vampire's point of view. But the story sounds a little too bloody for me!
    My Teaser is from MILLSTONE.

    1. Yes, Allie, the Vampire, does have a very interesting POV!

And it is bloody, VERY BLOODY! So yeah, if a lot of blood bothers you, then I would stay away from this series, because it is covered in it!

      Thanks for commenting! :)

  6. Oh awesome teasers!! Just finished this one yesterday and LOVED it! Hope you enjoy it too!

    Here's my Tuesday post

I'm so glad you enjoyed THE FOREVER SONG! I'm about 70% done, and I am LOVING it! Julie Kagawa knows how to write an EPIC Conclusion! I'm sad it's over though!
