  8. Well I tend to only read the books I want to read. But the book I least enjoyed was Night Broken by Patricia Briggs. Only because I started the series, then fell out of it at one point, and then when I tried jumping back into it, I found I couldn't get into it as well.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  25. I hate downing books but I didn't care for How to Meet Boys by Catherine Clark & last years book Arsen: A Broken Love Story by Mia Asher. It was horrible. I hope the author doesn't see this post. I hate hurting anyones feelings but I didn't like either of them. Thank you for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The worst book I read was probably Beautiful Disaster! Terrible book!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I just finished Dark Kiss. The word "had" was used 18 times in each sentence. *shivers*

    ReplyDelete
  42. While I wouldn't say it's the worst book I've read this year (luckily, I haven't had any true duds this year), Moth and Spark was good but not as good as I was hoping it would be. I still enjoyed it, just didn't love it.

  43. I personally don't believe in bad books, more like, books that just aren't for me. Ya know? But honestly, I can't think of a book I didn't like in 2013 or so far in 2014. It's been a good reading year for me!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Voyage of Vengeance, book #7 in Mission Earth series by Ron. L. Hubbard. This series is really bad and I'm only reading it as I'd like to know how it will end, but instead on 10 books this series should have been 3-4 books long.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I couldn't finish either of the Michael Chabon books I started this year...just too verbose.

    --Trix

    ReplyDelete
  46. The worst book I ever read was Mrs Dalloway. I coun't finish it. Too difficult to understand

    ReplyDelete
  47. The worst book this year is one I read from Goodreads. The book is called The Submissive by Tara Sue Me. Before this book I had never read the Erotica genre and I considered this book to have a boring plot. I did a lot of skimming only because I had to give a review or I would have quit reading it in the first few chapters.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think it's "I Wrote This For You" by pleasefindthis although there are parts that I really love and the book has really high ratings :) I think the book's not just for me :) thanks for this awesome giveaway! :D

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  55. So far, I haven't encountered any book I'd consider "worst read". I guess 2014 is a great yaer for me :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. I haven't read any bad books...mostly good or okay books. :)

    ReplyDelete
  68. The worst book that I have read this year? Hmm, I have honestly had a great year so far with the books that I have chosen, so it is hard for me to remember any of the bad. I guess I would have to say the worst one that I have finished was The Murmurings by Carly Anne West. And the one that I DNF'd was Teen Spirit by Francesca Lia Block. It wasn't a bad book at all, but I think maybe it was written for a younger YA, maybe 12 and 13 and I am WAYY past that!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I feel kinda bad but it was a read to review called Darkness Watching. I read 2 books a week and this one took a month ;-( I was not into at all.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  79. Thankfully I haven't really read any bad books this year.. I hope this continues throughout the year .

    ReplyDelete
  80. The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway, I guess. I wouldn't say it was bad.. just not very interesting. I'm too literal a person for such stories.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Nothing so far, up to this date I have only read 4, yes I know.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Luckily I haven't read a book that I haven't enjoyed yet this year. Maybe I will get super lucky and only read good ones this year :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. I wouldn't call it the worst, but I was really disappointed with Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. Left me totally unsatisfied, guess I had high expectations.
    Thanks for a giveaway! :)

    ReplyDelete
  84. I have enjoyed all the books that I've read so far this year and hoping the trend will continue. :)

    ReplyDelete
  85. My worst would either be The Edge of Never (I was shocked because so many people seemed to love it, but I couldn't stand it!) or Countdown (it felt like a formulaic sci-fi dystopia, no originality).

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ohh that's an interesting question, but I've honestly enjoyed all of the books I've read so far. I guess out of those books, the lowest rating for me was Faster We Burn.
