Undying

This is a story of love . . . and zombies.

When eighteen-year-old college freshman Christian discovers his dormitory is crawling with the living dead, he knows he has a problem. But once he learns the whole country is overrun by the flesh-eating horde, he must race to protect what matters to him most.

Sixteen-year-old Iris, the girl he loves, is stranded eighty miles away, alone and completely unaware of the gruesome threat surrounding her.

Christian’s plan is to evade the zombies, drive the distance to rescue Iris, and get them both to his family farm—where there are guns, fuel, and everything else they’ll need to survive. His mission seems simple: Get the girl, get to the farm, and stay alive.

Things get complicated when Christian is forced to make an unthinkable choice between Iris and his family. Someone he loves must die, and he must decide.

Undying was super creepy, but supper fun to read! It's definitely a great addiction to the Zombie genre, and for any zombie lover like myself!

THE PLOT...

Christian, an eighteen-old college freshmen, wakes to find his normal world in mayhem, and something he never thought to be possible...the living dead!

There everywhere... there attacking and killing his entire school, his friends, teachers, and other students. There all turning into mindless flesh-craving animals, and all he can think about is getting back to the girl he loves, the girl he has yet to confess his love too, his best-friend Iris! And she is eighty miles away, stranded and unaware of flesh-eaters taken over! He is prepared to do anything to get to the girl he loves, before she becomes the thing he fears the most, the living dead

Christian is in for the fight of his life as he races the 80 miles back to the girl he loves, in hopes to make it back to his family's farm...alive!

I really enjoy the world in UNDYING, it is my kind of Zombie book, and it had reminded me exactly why I love the Zombie genre! I will definitely be continuing this series, and I can't wait to see what's to come in Christian and Iris's adventure!

NOTE: I received an ARC of UNDYING for review purposes, all opinions expressed are my own and are not influenced in any way!

  2. When I read a zombie book, most of the time anyway, I want them to be cannibalistic killing machines. And it sounds like that is exactly what I will get with this book. So, I can definitely see the potential for another great read with Undying. Thank you for your review!
