Perfect for the fans of Shatter Me who are desperately awaiting the release of Unravel Me, this novella-length digital original will bridge the gap between these two novels from the perspective of the villain we all love to hate, Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.

In Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me, Juliette escaped from The Reestablishment by seducing Warner—and then putting a bullet in his shoulder. But as she’ll learn in Destroy Me, Warner is not that easy to get rid of. . .
Back at the base and recovering from his near-fatal wound, Warner must do everything in his power to keep his soldiers in check and suppress any mention of a rebellion in the sector. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape. But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner simply cannot allow.
Set after Shatter Me and before its forthcoming sequel, Unravel Me, Destroy Me is a novella told from the perspective of Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.

You want Warner's side of the story!

Well this is it! This is from Warner's POV, after Juliette escaped with Adam from Sector 45. Being in Warner's head was an amazing! It was interesting to see how Warner actually See's things and why he does the crazy things he does. Their was actually times where I felt sorry for Warner! Yeah, I NEVER seen that coming either! But Warner seems different after Juliette escaped.

So in this short in-between story we follow Warner through trying to pick up the pieces left after Juliette escaped. He has so much cleaning up to do amongst his people. People want to know what's going on, they want answers! The Reestablishment is worried of an uprising and it Warner's job to squish that before it starts. And not only that but Warner's father, The Supreme Commander of the Reestablishment has come back to clean up his son's mess with Juliette, and he is not happy about it!

In between of doing all that Warner is still searching for Juliette and has no clue where she has gone. It's like she just dropped of the face of the earth...

So Warner has to pick the pieces of the mess that Juliette caused while escaping, and calm down the citizens before everything gets out of control! Oh, and did I mention Warner's having to do all that while going insane! He's desperately missing Juliette! He's having visions/dreams of her. Some are so bad it's hard to tell which are real and which aren't!

Warner didn't realized how much Juliette was able to chipped away the ice around his heart, and allowed him to feel again. He is in love with Juliette, and he will stop at nothing to have her in his arms forever! BUT theirs one problem! Warner's father, The Supreme Commander of the Reestablishment wants her back also! But he wants her Dead! So what's Warner to do when the women he loves is going to be killed by the man he's suppose to love, his father! The head boss over their "New" Government! Well your guess is as good as mine, will have to read the next book "Unravel Me" to find out!

I really enjoyed this book very much! I think it was important to the series to read Warner's POV and see what was going on in his head! It allowed us to understand a lot of the things that were left unsaid in "Shatter Me". Hearing how Warner feels about Juliette and the other things going on in his world allows us to see what he's really like inside. I was SHOCKED to find out that I may actually like Warner. It may only be a tiny bit, but Warner is not all bad as he seems! Gosh, I never thought I would be saying that about him because I HATED him in "Shatter Me"! But in this book Warner's different, and I think it has a lot to do with loving Juliette!

This is just a must read for all the "Shatter Me" fans! I loved it! Definitely worth 5 stars and some!

  3. I have never been much of novella person. I have tried a few of them, and a few short stories, but I could never get into them. I have heard such good things about novella's for this series though. And it really would be interesting to know more about Warner! I don't know. I may check it out sometime. MAYBE! You always make me want to read a book though. So it probably will happen soon!
